Safari Lake Geneva is a conservation park committed to supporting a better future for wildlife in the wild. The park is also home to exotic animals from around the world that are presented in an immersive, educational, and interactive environment.

Seasonal Safari Rangers are responsible for the care and safety of all animals and guests. Primary duties include overseeing animals and their habitats, ensuring guests and animals are safe and adhering to rules while enjoying their experience, maintaining traffic flow by moving animals as needed, cleaning animal areas, and maintaining a sanitary environment overall. Rangers will also provide high quality animal care through enrichment, training, and diet preparation. Guest services, including admissions and retail sales, are additional duties. These are full-time, seasonal positions lasting from the end of April until November 1, 2025 with the possible opportunity to become a full-time team member.

Candidates must be able to follow instructions, handle money, be comfortable with public speaking to various size groups, and maintain a calm and friendly demeanor. Previous industry experience is strongly preferred. Applicants must be able to work in a variety of conditions and lift 50 pounds. Qualified candidates will also have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation is dependent on experience and starts at $15.00 per hour.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions
